Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Xarothi for Teachers mobile application (the "App"), operated by Xarothi ("Xarothi", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What Xarothi for Teachers is

Xarothi for Teachers is the partner app for tutors ("Tutors", "you") on the Xarothi Super Coach tuition marketplace. It lets you create a tutor profile, receive student requests, manage your schedule and sessions, and withdraw your earnings. Tutors are independent service providers; you are not an employee or agent of Xarothi.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create a Tutor account. By using the App you confirm that the information you provide — including your qualifications and identity documents — is accurate and genuine.

3. Accounts

  • You log in using your mobile number and a one-time password (OTP).
  • You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your device secure.
  • You may delete your account at any time (Profile → Delete account). See how to delete your account.

4. Verification

Before you can receive student requests, you must complete identity (KYC) and qualification verification. We may approve, decline, suspend, or re-review your verification at our discretion to keep the marketplace safe for families.

5. Requests, sessions, and conduct

  • You decide which requests to accept or decline.
  • When you accept a request, you agree to deliver the session as described and to mark it complete accurately.
  • You agree not to misuse the App, including: providing false information; harassing or endangering students, parents, or others; attempting to take bookings or payments off-platform to avoid fees; or using the App for any unlawful purpose. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

6. Earnings, commission, and payouts

  • Your earnings for completed, paid sessions accrue in the App.
  • Xarothi charges a platform commission on paid sessions. The platform commission is waived for your first 20 bookings; applicable taxes (such as GST) may still apply. The amounts shown in the App reflect what you will receive.
  • You can withdraw available earnings to your chosen payout method (UPI or bank account), subject to a minimum withdrawal amount shown in the App. Payouts are processed through our payment partners.
  • You are responsible for your own taxes on the income you earn.

7. Safety

We take reasonable steps to verify Tutors and the students/parents on the platform, but you are responsible for your own judgment and safety when arranging and delivering in-person tuition.

8. Content

You may upload profile content, qualifications, and teaching samples. You are responsible for the content you post and grant Xarothi a licence to display it in connection with the service. We may remove content that is abusive, false, or violates these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is." Xarothi is a facilitator that connects Tutors with students and parents and is not responsible for the acts or omissions of students or parents. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties not expressly stated here.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Xarothi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the commission you paid to Xarothi in the 3 months before the claim.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect when we post the updated Terms (shown by the "Last updated" date) and, where appropriate, notify you in-app. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts of Guwahati, Assam, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
