Delete your account from within the App (fastest)
- Open Xarothi for Teachers and make sure you are logged in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm on the dialog, then confirm again to permanently delete.
Your account is deleted, you are logged out, and your mobile number is freed so it can be used for a fresh registration later.
Request deletion by email
If you cannot access the App, email ourxarothi@gmail.com from the phone number or email on your account, with the subject "Delete my Teacher account." We will verify your request and process it within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we remove or de-identify your personal data, including:
- Your name, phone number, and email
- Your profile photo, bio, qualifications, subjects, and teaching samples
- Your identity (KYC) documents
- Your payout methods (UPI / bank details)
- Your availability, service areas, and private student notes
What may be retained
We may retain limited records where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example, earnings, payout, and tax records for accounting compliance, and anonymized logs). Retained records are kept no longer than required and are not used to re-identify you. See our Privacy Policy for details.
